Tenuta Castel Venezze, farm located in Veneto near Venice

Villa Tenuta Castel Venezze is an elegant country estate located in the Veneto region, not far from Venice, on the border of the historical Polesine area. The heart of the property is the main villa and its striking original portico, both meticulously restored in 2003 after fifteen years of careful work. These restorations unveiled the splendor of a 16th-century noble residence, itself built upon the ruins of a medieval castle destroyed in the 1100s during the conflicts between Ferrara and Venice.

Tenuta Castel Venezze was inaugurated in 1998 as one of the pioneering “agriturismi” in the province of Rovigo. Until 2014, it was lovingly managed by our mother, Maria Giustiniani. Since her passing in September 2014, her five children have taken on the responsibility of continuing her vision, faithfully preserving the distinctive charm and character she so carefully crafted.

the Park

The park surrounding the whole fortified village, is crossed by the road original stone in the Middle Ages connected Padua to Ferrara.

“The east wing of the villa was once a central point at the border between the territories of Este and Venice, and it also served as a post station where taxes were collected.”
