The Italian Cooking Vacation Package invites you to experience the authentic flavors and relaxed rhythm of life in the Veneto countryside, just an hour from Venice. Surrounded by orchards, gardens, and open fields, Tenuta Castel Venezze is the perfect setting to immerse yourself in traditional Italian cuisine and rural charm.

Over three nights and four hands-on cooking classes, you’ll cook alongside Chef Stefano, learning authentic recipes handed down through generations — from fresh handmade pasta to risotto and classic Italian desserts. Each class ends with a shared meal, where guests sit together to enjoy the dishes they’ve prepared.

Between lessons, there’s plenty of time to relax by the pool, stroll through the gardens, or explore nearby villages. Optional afternoon excursions can also be arranged on request.

Your stay includes full-board accommodation in comfortable double rooms with private bathrooms, and all meals are prepared using fresh, seasonal ingredients from our own garden — fruits, vegetables, tomatoes, and grains that represent the heart of our cooking philosophy.

  • Day 1 (Wednesday):  Arrive around 12:30 PM and settle in at the villa. At 4:00 PM, join your first hands-on cooking class and start discovering the flavors of traditional Italian cuisine.
    In the evening, enjoy a delicious welcome dinner at our cozy restaurant, Locanda Venezze, to kick off your Italian adventure!
  • Day 2 (Thursday): After a hearty breakfast, you’ll roll up your sleeves for your first hands-on cooking class. Learn to craft traditional pasta like tagliatelle and tortellini. Savor lunch with authentic Italian wine before exploring local sights or unwinding at the villa.
  • Day 3 (Friday): More cooking fun awaits! In the morning, master new recipes — from appetizers to desserts — during your second hands-on lesson.
    After lunch, take some time to relax or join an optional half-day tour in the area.
    At 4:00 PM, return to the kitchen for your third cooking class, where you’ll prepare a seasonal Italian menu to be enjoyed together at dinner at Locanda Venezze.
  • Day 4 (Saturday):  After breakfast and check-out, we’ll ensure you’re set for your next destination with an easy taxi service to the nearby train station.

HOW TO GET HERE
The best way to Rovigo is by train. It starts every hour from Venice and stops at Rovigo Railway Station. The ride is approximately one hour long, and a round-trip costs around € 16 per person. You do not need to arrange a taxi; check outside Rovigo’s train station for the first available taxi. The ride is approx. € 30.

Cancellation policies

Our cancellation policy: Cancellations made 60 days from the arrival date lose the deposit already paid, while in case of cancellation within 60 days before arrival or in case of a no-show, we will charge the total amount.
